Sota had always been an easy-going, free spirited kind of person outside of home; eager to please and quick in decisions. The mix of his charismatic and charming personality has usually gotten him into a bit of trouble--more often than not-- making him seem like a flirt (watch out kouhais!!). In reality, Sota is much more oblivious than flirtatious and tends to be very sarcastic. If Sota puts his mind onto something, it is pretty difficult to stop him. His stubborn demeanor leads him to be curious and adventurous in new settings. He can be impatient in many situations, causing him to do/say things on impulse-- whether it be rude or not. His talkativeness may also come off as a bit straightforward, but he often doesn't mean any harm. In fact, Sota is actually quite protective of his friends and would go far lengths to keep them happy.

「 Biography 」

As an only child, Sota lives with his mother on the outskirts of town. While his mom works most of the time at home-- painting vases and other small crafts-- Sota works part-time as a delivery guy for a noodle shop to help with the family expenses, thus making him quite familiar with the roads throughout Koshu as well as the town's people. Since middle school, Sota has always helped around the house (from cleaning and cooking to bringing in the newspaper), trying to lighten his mother's work load as much as possible since his dad had never been there for them. Despite his dad's absence always bugging him, Sota never wanted to ask his mother about it, in fear of bad memories resurfacing (no matter how curious he got). However at the beginning of high school, Sota found a stray cat on his way home and decided to take it in, sharing the same feeling of abandonment. As for the future, Sota doesn't exactly know which career he would like to pursue or even if he wants to attend college. His main priority is hanging out with his friends and having fun since he already has such a responsible role at home.

Kōbai: Sota's female cat friend that he saved from the bridge near his house. He found her around the start of his first year in high school and has grown really close to her.

Kuromi, Naomi: His mom whom he cares for very dearly. They don’t spend very much time together but they both try to do the best they can to help the other. He uses his mother’s maiden name.
